The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) today launched the WOW! Simpan SSPN 2024 Draw Campaign officiated by YBhg. Datuk Norliza Abdul Rahim, Chairman of PTPTN, at the Royal Chulan Hotel, Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Also present were YBrs. Mr. Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, Chief Executive of PTPTN, and the PTPTN Management Board.
PTPTN, an agency under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), plays a role in fostering the habit of saving through the Simpan SSPN product introduced in 2004. Cultivating a saving habit is PTPTN's main focus to improve financial literacy among the Malaysian community. PTPTN is committed to making Simpan SSPN the primary education savings product in Malaysia, in line with the First Pillar of the PTPTN Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
Therefore, various campaigns and promotions are continuously intensified to encourage the practice of saving, including the annual signature program of PTPTN since 2015, the WOW! Simpan SSPN Draw Campaign. Additionally, the organization of this campaign is also a token of PTPTN's appreciation to Simpan SSPN depositors for choosing Simpan SSPN as their primary option for their children's education savings.
The WOW! Simpan SSPN 2024 Draw Campaign offers more generous prizes worth over RM1.3 million to be won by 983 winners. The promotion period starts from January 1, 2024, until December 31, 2024. This draw consists of the Annual Draw and five (5) Series Draws held with specific themes including celebrations and independence day celebrations.
This year is special as for the first time the WOW! Kasih Series Draw is introduced to appreciate significant individuals in our lives such as during Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Teacher's Day. The categories of the Draw are as follows:

At the same event, PTPTN also celebrated the winners of the WOW! Simpan SSPN 2023 Annual Draw Category, which ended on December 31, 2023. The main winner received a cash prize of RM150,000, second place RM50,000, and the third-place winner received a cash prize of RM10,000. In addition, PTPTN was pleased to present the main prize for the Bulan Menabung Simpan SSPN (BMS) 2023 Draw Campaign, which was a cash prize of RM10,000, and two consolation prize winners each received RM1,000.
For the record, as of December 31, 2023, the total Simpan SSPN deposits received amounted to RM17.39 billion with as many as 6.25 million accounts. Account opening and additional deposits for Simpan SSPN can be made through the myPTPTN app for convenience, speed, and security.
