Corporate Information

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) was established under the National Higher Education Fund Corporation Act 1997 (Act 566), which came into force on 1 July 1997. PTPTN commenced operations on 1 November 1997 at the Wisma Chase Perdana Building, Off Jalan Semantan, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.

  • PTPTN functions to manage loans for the purpose of higher education and collect repayments of the loans;
  • Provide savings schemes and manage deposits for the purpose of higher education; and
  • Undertake any other functions given to PTPTN by any written law.

Role of Chief Digital Officer

  • Assisting the CEO in executing tasks involving ICT security as specified in this Policy;
  • Ensuring that information security controls in PTPTN are standardized and harmonized optimally; and
  • Ensuring that PTPTN's Digitalization Plan includes aspects of ICT security.

Role of ICT Security Officer

  • Establish guidelines, procedures, and practices in line with the requirements of this Policy;
  • Develop ICT security risk management and audit guided by the applicable framework, policies, and circulars/ guidelines;
  • Prepare and distribute appropriate warnings about potential ICT security threats and provide advisory services as well as appropriate protective measures; 
  • Report ICT security incidents to PTPTN's CSIRT and subsequently assist in the investigation or recovery;
  • Collaborate with all relevant parties in identifying the sources of ICT security threats or incidents and promptly implement remedial measures; 
  • Ensure compliance with this Policy by PTPTN staff, suppliers, and parties involved with PTPTN's ICT services;
  • Review, study, and prepare reports related to ICT security issues; and
  • Coordinate training plans and ICT security awareness programs.

  • Merangka pengurusan risiko dan audit keselamatan ICT  berpandukan rangka kerja, polisi dan pekeliling/ garis panduan yang berkuat kuasa;
  • Prepare and distribute appropriate warnings about potential ICT security threats and provide advisory services as well as appropriate protective measures; 
  • Report ICT security incidents to PTPTN's CSIRT and subsequently assist in the investigation or recovery;
  • Bekerjasama dengan semua pihak yang berkaitan dalam mengenal pasti punca ancaman atau insiden keselamatan ICT dan memperakukan langkah-langkah baik pulih dengan segera;
  • Ensure compliance with this Policy by PTPTN staff, suppliers, and parties involved with PTPTN's ICT services;
  • Review, study, and prepare reports related to ICT security issues; and
  • Coordinate training plans and ICT security awareness programs.

Customer Charter

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is committed to manage the Education Loan Scheme for students, accepting deposits for the National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN), and other functions as per the National Higher Education Fund Corporation Act 1997 (Act 566) with professionalism and high accountability, ensuring effectiveness.

We promise to:

Processing complete loan applications within five (5) working days after the application deadline according to the designated groups;

We promise to ensure that disbursement of new loans will be made within 20 working days after receiving complete loan agreement documents according to the assigned group;

Ensure that the disbursement of subsequent loans is made within seven (7) working days from the date of loan disbursement processing;

Processing applications for opening Simpan SSPN account within 14 working days after receiving complete application documents;

Processing Simpan SSPN account withdrawal/ closure requests will be completed within 14 working days after receiving a complete application form; and

Providing prompt feedback on all customer inquiries and complaints within no later than seven (7) working days after the inquiries and complaints are received.
