The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) consistently implements integrated initiatives and diversifies customer-friendly approaches to assist and facilitate borrowers in repaying their loans. Among these are the organization of campaigns that will provide special benefits to PTPTN borrowers.
In 2024, PTPTN introduced the Bayar Konsisten, Hati Senang Campaign aimed at encouraging PTPTN borrowers to make their PTPTN loan repayments consistently, easily, and securely through salary deductions and direct debits (Direct Debit). The campaign is open to all PTPTN borrowers and runs from January 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024.
The prizes offered are substantial, totaling RM70,000 for 62 winners cross two (2) categories which is salary deduction and direct debit (Direct Debit). The main prize for each category is RM5,000 for one winner, and RM1,000 for each consolation prize winner for 30 winners per category. The prizes are given as cash in the form of loan repayment or Simpan SSPN.
"Bayar Konsisten, Hati Senang Campaign is one of the best platforms to encourage more borrowers to fulfill their responsibilities so that the continuity of PTPTN loans can be extended to future generations. Additionally, this campaign also provides PTPTN borrowers who win cash prizes with additional financial support, indirectly helping them to repay loans or make savings. The government, through the 2024 Budget, has also agreed to provide a 15 percent discount incentive for PTPTN loan repayments made through salary deductions or direct debit from October 14, 2023, to March 31, 2024. It is hoped that PTPTN borrowers will take this opportunity to make repayments through salary deductions or direct debit and enjoy the discount incentives offered by the government, thereby participating in this campaign." – Mr. Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, Chief Executive Officer of PTPTN.
