The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) continues its tradition of sharing blessings with the academic community and local residents through the PTPTN Ramadan Enlivening Programme (IMRAN) 2025. This programme will be held at 15 selected Public Universities (UA), Polytechnics, Community Colleges, and Schools across the country from 5 March to 20 March 2025.
The programme began with an official launch and flag-off ceremony officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim, Chairman of PTPTN, held at Menara PTPTN. Also present were Encik Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, Chief Executive of PTPTN; Puan Zainah Rujihan, Director of Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA); members of PTPTN’s management; and students from PSA.
IMRAN is a signature programme under PTPTN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, introduced in 2021 with the aim of strengthening ties and fostering goodwill between PTPTN and educational institutions, while promoting the values of unity and compassion within the community. Due to the encouraging response received, the programme returns for its fifth consecutive year, continuing its mission to enliven the blessed month of Ramadan.
“IMRAN is not just about assisting students and communities in need, but also about strengthening the family-like bond between PTPTN and educational institutions through close collaboration. Through this programme, PTPTN staff, students, Student Representative Councils (MPP), Parent-Teacher Associations (PIBG), teachers, and school or institution staff will come together in gotong-royong to prepare bubur lambuk, bubur manis, or iftar meals to be distributed to students and the local community. An estimated 10,000 students and community members are expected to receive iftar meals this year. It is hoped that PTPTN’s contribution will help ease some of the financial burden during this blessed month of Ramadan.” — YBhg. Dato’ Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim, Chairman of PTPTN
PTPTN hopes that collaborations like this will continue and expand, allowing more students and communities to participate and benefit. As an institution committed to the sustainability of national education, PTPTN will continue to strengthen IMRAN as a platform for welfare outreach and strategic partnerships with educational institutions, with the aim of creating a positive impact for all parties involved.
As an agency under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), PTPTN remains committed to enhancing the implementation of CSR programmes, particularly in the field of education, for the development of future generations that in line with PTPTN’s motto, Your Opportunities for Success and tagline PTPTN Prihatin : Kami Kongsi, Kami Bantu.
