The PTPTN Ramadan Enlivening Programme (IMRAN) continued its journey to the East Coast with an event held at Sekolah Menengah Sains Machang (SMACH), Kelantan. What made this stop special was the choice of dish which is gulai kawah daging, a traditional delicacy deeply rooted in Kelantanese culture.
The gotong-royong activity began early in the morning, involving students, teachers, SMACH staff, and PTPTN officers in the preparation of gulai kawah. This initiative not only strengthened the bond between PTPTN and the school community, but also enriched the spirit of Ramadan through acts of mutual support, sharing of blessings, and fostering stronger ties of brotherhood.
The prepared dish was later distributed to students and their family members who joined the lively iftar gathering held at the SMACH field.
The programme was further graced by the presence of esteemed guests including YBhg. Tuan Haji Hussain bin Awang, Former Director of the Kelantan State Education Department; YBrs. Encik Ahmad Dasuki bin Abdul Majid, Chief Executive of PTPTN; YBrs. Tuan Haji Mat Lazim bin Mohammad, Deputy Director of Education (Planning and PPD Management Sector), Kelantan State Education Department; and YBrs. Tuan Haji Muhammad bin Daud, Principal of SMACH. Also in attendance were Encik Hamdan bin Razali, PTPTN State Director for Kelantan, and Encik Syerman bin Salleh, General Manager of PTPTN.
