The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) in collaboration with Shopee organized the Pay With Shopee! Campaign. This campaign aims to encourage PTPTN borrowers to repay their education loans online as well as to appreciate PTPTN borrowers who are committed to consistently repaying their education loans through Shopee's repayment channel facility.
The PTPTN loan repayment method through Shopee was introduced in 2021 as one of the initiatives to encourage PTPTN customers to make payment transactions through online payment channels. This online payment channel facility is also in line with the 5th Strategic Thrust, PTPTN Strategic Plan 2021-2025 which is to empower the organization towards greater dynamics and excellence through digitalisation to ensure that service delivery to customers is not affected and always at its best.
Pay With Shopee campaign! This is open to all users of the ShopeePay application who make PTPTN loan repayments within the campaign period which is from 15 June 2022 until 15 July 2022. Through this campaign, vouchers will be given as follows:
- Giving a 10% discount voucher of the total payment, subject to a maximum amount of RM5 to the first 60 users of the Shopee application every day during the campaign period, except on 7 July 2022;
- Total number of DOUBLE discount vouchers recipients is 120 early users on 7 July 2022 in conjunction with PTPTN's establishment month and also MEGA SALES SHOPEE day;
- Each user is eligible to receive a discount voucher reward only once during the campaign period; and
- Users who successfully receive a discount voucher must redeem it first before making a loan repayment transaction.
According to the Chief Executive of PTPTN, Encik Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, "this collaboration is proof of PTPTN's commitment and determination to ensure borrowers can make repayments quick, easy and safe.
PTPTN also welcomes strategic cooperation from various other agencies to help and make it easier for borrowers to repay their loans. The repayment of loans made by borrowers is very meaningful and important for the sustainability of PTPTN loans for future generations."
