The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) launched the Cabutan WOW! 25 Years of PTPTN Campaign today, which was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan, The Chairman of PTPTN at Menara PTPTN. The launching of this campaign broadcasted online on Facebook PTPTNOfficial and PTPTN TV YouTube Channel. Other than the Chairman of PTPTN, Encik Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, the Chief Executive of PTPTN, Encik Mohd Asri Omar, the Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad (HLMT), Encik Mohd Jafni Abdul Jalil, Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer of Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad (TIFB) and Puan Norazlin Mohd Dahari, Chief Department of Korporat Takaful, Great Eastern Takaful Berhad (GETB) as well as PTPTN Management are also present at the launching. At the same event, they also awarded prizes to the winners of Cabutan WOW! Simpan SSPN Plus 2021 and Stay Safe & Win SSPN-i 2021. Stay Safe & Win SSPN-i 2021.
PTPTN has always been giving main focus in cultivating saving practices for financial planning for higher education purposes. This action is in line with the Teras Utama Pelan Strategik PTPTN 2021-2025 which is to make the National Education Savings Scheme (Simpan SSPN) as the main education savings product in Malaysia. The main mission of this saving initiative is to ensure that youth are not financially burdened after graduation, thus lessening the dependency on loans within society.
Thereby, various campaigns and promotions have been continuously projected to cultivate the saving practices, including holding a Cabutan WOW! Campaign as the PTPTN’s annual signature program. signature With lucrative prizes offered every year, this prize draws is always looked for by every depositor of Simpan SSPN.
Before this, Cabutan WOW! Campaign was specially held only for Simpan SSPN Plus depositors. However, it is the first time ever this draw is also open for Simpan SSPN Prime depositors. This is done as an appreciation token from PTPTN to all Simpan SSPN depositors. This Cabutan WOW! 25 Tahun PTPTN Campaign is also a symbolic event to celebrate the success in cultivating savings practices in conjunction with the 25 years of establishment of PTPTN.
Interesting and lucrative prizes worth nearly RM1 million awaiting 350 lucky winners.There are three (3) categories, which are “Cabutan Tahunan Jubli Perak”, “Cabutan Khas Babyku Simpan” and “Cabutan Siri”. The Grand Prize for “Cabutan Tahunan Jubli Perak” consists of the Mercedes-Benz A250 AMG Line. For the Second Prize, the winner is granted a cash reward of RM100,000. For the Third Prize, the winner is rewarded with a cash reward of RM50,000. Meanwhile, the consolation Babyprize consists of a cash reward of RM250,000 awaiting 250 winners. For the “Cabutan Siri” prizes, a cash reward of RM200,000 awaits 75 winners.
The promotion period starts on 1 January until 31 December 2021 for “Cabutan Tahunan Jubli Perak” and “Cabutan Khas Babyku Simpan” as well as “Cabutan Siri” from 1 April to 31 December 2022. BabyTo participate in this campaign, depositors only need to make a net deposit minimum RM50.00 during the campaign period to be qualified for draw.

There are two (2) Simpan SSPN products, which are Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus.
