The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) today launched the Cabutan WOW! Simpan 2023 Campaign officiated by YBhg. Dato' Seri Abdul Razak bin Jaafar, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education is located at the Impiana Kuala Lumpur City Center Hotel. The ceremony was also broadcast live through the official Facebook on PTPTN Official and the official YouTube on PTPTN TV. Mr Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, the Chief Executive Officer of PTPTN, KPT Top Management and PTPTN Management were also present.
PTPTN is always committed to encourage the practice of saving for the purpose of higher education. This effort is in line with the First Thrust in the PTPTN Strategic Plan 2021-2025 to make the National Education Savings Scheme (Simpan SSPN) the main education savings product in Malaysia. Therefore, the campaign Cabutan WOW! Simpan SSPN 2023 which is an annual promotional campaign that will take place again this year to encourage savings and as an appreciation for Simpan SSPN depositors.
Cabutan WOW! Simpan SSPN 2023 Campaign offers generous cash prizes with a total value of almost RM500,000 awaiting 138 winners. This draw consists of the Annual Draw and five (5) Series Draws as follows :

Depositors only need to open an account or make additional savings during the campaign period. Every RM100 for Simpan SSPN Prime saved during the campaign period will be eligible for one (1) draw and RM50 for Simpan SSPN Plus will be automatically eligible for two (2) draws.
Interestingly, this campaign also gives the advantage of multiple draws to users of the myPTPTN mobile app. Simpan SSPN Prime depositors who deposit RM100 through myPTPTN, will get five (5) draws, while Simpan SSPN Plus depositors who deposit RM50 through myPTPTN will get ten (10) draws.
PTPTN as an agency under the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) played a role in fostering a culture of saving starting in 2004 by providing savings instruments through Simpan SSPN. Simpan SSPN continues to be on a solid footing as a competitive savings product and comparable to other savings products in the market with various privileges and benefits provided. Continuous efforts are being made by PTPTN so that the Malaysian community can benefit from financial planning through the introduced savings products.
Strategic cooperation with various stakeholders is also multiplied to ensure that the benefits of savings are extended to all levels of society. At the same event, PTPTN presented certificates of appreciation to five (5) strategic partners for the collaboration in 2022 as a symbol of the successful collaboration in empowering and fostering the culture of savings through Simpan SSPN. The strategic partners are the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP), Sabah State Government, ATM Veteran Foundation (YVATM), Kao Laurier Malaysia and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB).
PTPTN always encourages the involvement of strategic partners in empowering savings through Simpan SSPN. Collaboration from all interested government and corporate agencies is very welcome as a contributor to the Simpan SSPN account.
Sehingga 31 Disember 2022, jumlah deposit Simpan SSPN yang diterima adalah sebanyak RM14.24 bilion dengan bilangan akaun berjumlah 5.73 juta. Pembukaan akaun dan penambahan deposit Simpan SSPN boleh dibuat secara dalam talian dengan lebih mudah, cepat dan selamat melalui myPTPTN.
