I was surprised when I was first informed because the idea was to save without taking into account factors like a lucky draw. However, after receiving a letter from PTPTN, I felt very happy and grateful. In 2020, the government provided a grant that encouraged me to start saving. If I saved more than a set amount, the government would add additional funds to my account. The most appealing aspect of this program was its attractive dividend, and I encourage parents to start saving, even if it's just a small amount of RM50. In for a penny, in for a pound.

When I consistently deduct salary for PTPTN promotions, I receive information about joining Cabutan WOW! SSPN Plus via email. I appreciate this event because it allows us to save based on what we earn. The monthly rate is affordable, starting as low as RM20. I highly encourage parents to save for their children’s education so that they won’t be burdened with debt in the future.

I started investing for my first two children in 2017, and by the end of 2021, we opened an account for our third child. Since I registered this new SSPN (for my one-year baby who just turned 1 last year), I am thankful that I saved in SSPN Plus. I found it very beneficial as I can save a minimum of RM30 per month. And, still receive takaful benefits worth Rm20 in savings and RM10 in perks. Therefore, I recommend Malaysians to take advantage of the SSPN program as it allows them to start saving starting from RM30 and they also have a chance to win a large prize. I am thankful for PTPTN.
