The National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN-i ) was designed by the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) for the purpose of higher education.

Starting 1 January 2012, students who wish to apply for PTPTN education financing MUST have an SSPN-i  account with a minimum deposit of RM20.00.

Therefore, all students are encouraged to open a SSPN-i account in Maybank and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad to facilitate and expedite the account opening. SSPN-i account balances can be checked directly / next day PTPTN website for opening an account at Maybank and the next day for opening an account at Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad
