If a student fails/defers/repeats his studies, what is the action taken by PTPTN?
Answer:
If a student fails his studies and does not have the opportunity to complete the studies within the specified period, he is required to make total repayment of the PTPTN loan including the 3% administrative cost. However, if the student has to repeat or defer his studies owing to unavoidable reasons and has been given approval by the IPT, he must apply in writing to PTPTN through the Student Affairs Division of the IPT to defer loan repayment and resume the loan after the student re-continues the studies. Application is subject to approval of the PTPTN Management Board.
